Two lifelong best friends who have been tested and tried by illness are on full display in this story of trial and triumph. The fact that the authors of this autobiographical audiobook are also the narrators allows the listener to join them on the precipice of the canyon of life, with all of its ups and downs. It's obvious that these men are not professional narrators, but that only adds to the audio experience. You can hear the desperation and anxiety in both of their voices. Nevertheless, they share a common bond of hope that together we can all accomplish more. This true-life story will inspire everyone who hears it. T.D. © AudioFile 2017, Portland, Maine
