Shadowy government agencies are stalking me, Alchemist terrorists want to weaponize me, and my dad is still missing. If that's not bad enough, the world's most eligible vampire bachelor wants me to bring his dead girlfriend back to life.
Me? I just want to find my dad and return to my simple life. And maybe keep my heart intact.
But in order to get what I want, I may have to give others what they want. And in the process, I just might discover more than I bargained for. Namely, the truth of who — and what — I am.
